The Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus creates extraordinary experiences that champion the wonder and joy of childhood. We believe in kid-powered learning and work every day to open doors for Colorado's curious young minds.
Currently, we are raising funds for Adventure Forest, an outdoor experience wholly unique and magical. At 500 feet long and 36 feet high, this aerial course will feature rich opportunities for exploration and learning housed among daring physical challenges.
With YOUR help, we can close out our fundraising efforts and open Adventure Forest!
Thanks to the generosity of a very dear friend, all donations will be MATCHED dollar for dollar (up to $100,000), DOUBLING the impact of your gift!
In addition to our bold and innovative exhibits, we work to ensure that all children, regardless of financial circumstances, have the opportunity to experience the Children’s Museum. To that end, we are actively raising funds for our access programs, which include the following:
Sponsored Admissions and Memberships Program: Provides educational programming through both outreach and field trips, and annual family memberships to students in underserved childcare centers and elementary schools throughout the metro area. This program serves more than 25,000 students annually.
SNAP Access Initiative: Offers alternative admissions pricing for families participating in the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Last year we served over 31,000 individuals through this initiative.
The Sturm Family Foundation, recognizing the remarkable impact of the Museum’s critical access programs, has committed to match dollar for dollar all cash gifts of $100 or more made to the Sponsored Admissions and Memberships Program or SNAP Access Initiative on or before June 30, 2019, up to $100,000. With this exciting opportunity, the impact of a gift from you will be even greater.
Donations to our access programs support an immediate need and are essential to our ability to continue these efforts.
Partnerships with foundations and corporations help support the Museum and connect us with the community we serve.
