Let us bring the Museum to you!

Looking to educate, inspire AND have fun with your students? Not only do our programs support Colorado Academic Standards and 21st Century Skills, they are sure to entertain. Explore the night sky, have a sudsy good time experimenting with bubbles, learn how to save the Earth through recycling and more!

All costs are for programs held within the seven-county metro area. Financial aid is available for eligible schools and childcare centers. To learn about scholarships and find out if your school or center qualifies, contact us.

  • Bubble Lab

    Young scientists will have a sudsy good time learning about bubbles and their amazing properties. Using bubble-making ingredients and measuring instruments, they will work in teams to develop and test their very own formula for bubble solution.

    Group Size: 15-30
    Length: 45 minutes
    Grades: 1st and 2nd
    Cost: $200 for a session, additional sessions $75

    Program Requirements

    • Multiple sessions require a 15-minute reset between each session.
    • Two sessions are required for groups larger than 30 children.
    • This program will get messy, and is ideally held in a gym or other non-carpeted area. Educators will bring tarps to cover the floor.

  • Earth Balloon

    Calling all young explorers! Take a one-of-a-kind look at the Earth from inside our 26-foot tall Earth Balloon. Students will gain an understanding of continents, countries, rivers, mountains and oceans in this interactive trip around the globe.

    Group Size: 15-30
    Length: 45 minutes
    Grades: K to 3rd
    Cost: $200 for a session, additional sessions $75

    Program Requirements

    • Indoor space with minimum 26-foot high ceiling, 26 square feet of floor space and access to an electrical outlet.
    • Multiple sessions require a 15-minute reset between each session.
    • Two sessions are required for groups larger than 30 children.

  • The Gingerbread Man

    This assembly-style performance is interactive theater as its best! Your students will bring nursery rhymes and fairytales to life as they act out the adventures of this mischievous little cookie.

    Great for large groups!

    Group Size: 15-125
    Length: 45 minutes
    Grades: Pre-K to 1st
    Cost: $200 for a session, additional sessions $75

  • Healthy Planet Heroes

    The Earth needs a superhero and there’s only one person for the job…YOU! Learn how easy and fun it can be to save the environment by reducing, reusing and recycling through song, dance and interactive games.

    Group Size: 30-200
    Length: 45 minutes
    Grades: K to 3rd
    Cost: $175 for a session, additional sessions $75

    Program Requirements

    • Multiple sessions require a 15-minute reset between each session.
    • Two sessions are required for groups larger than 200 children.

  • Kinetic Engineers

    Investigate force and motion by working in teams to complete design challenges and build ramps and pathways! This STEM program encourages young engineers to observe, ask questions and test out ideas.

    Group Size: 15-30
    Length: 45 minutes
    Grades: 1st and 2nd
    Cost: $175 for a session, additional sessions $75 

    Program Requirements

    • This program is ideally held in a gym or cafeteria space but a cleared out classroom will also work.
    • We ask that 2-3 volunteers be present during this program.
    • Multiple sessions require a 15-minute reset between each session.
    • Two sessions are required for groups larger than 30 children.

    Looking to expand upon big ideas for young engineers? The optional three-part program will further encourage students’ curiosity and critical thinking. (These programs are offered at a discounted rate for each additional day.)

  • Molar Expedition

     This interactive tooth adventure takes students through discovery stations to explore dental health. Learn how to protect your teeth from sugar bugs, cavities and germs!

    Climb inside our portable planetarium and explore the night sky! Students will learn to identify and locate constellations and enjoy star-inspired myths and legends from diverse world cultures.

    Stuffee is a larger than life, one-of-a-kind ambassador for health. In this interactive program, students will gain an understanding of the human body and ways to stay healthy and strong.

    Take a journey around the world to learn about drums and dancing from diverse cultures. Students will try different drums in this interactive musical adventure combining geography, arts and culture.
