The Children’s Museum offers free field trips and facilitated educational outreach programs to local Title I schools, Head Start Centers and other early learning centers serving low-income communities. As part of the program, each participating child and their family is offered a free, yearlong family membership to the Museum.
The Museum invites families who qualify for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to pay a greatly reduced admission, currently $3 per person, for up to 10 people per visit. To access the admission discount, they simply show their Electronic Benefits Transfer card upon entry.
Last fiscal year, the Museum provided more than 125,000 admissions through these important programs and the demand continues to grow. Please consider a gift today to help keep the Children’s Museum’s doors open to families in need.
