Try your hand in the kitchen with age-appropriate tools and fresh ingredients. We offer public cooking classes, fee-based workshops, live demos, or delicious samples of homemade food in The Teaching Kitchen. Each month features a different theme. In January, we'll focus on foods high in Vitamin A and in February, we're whipping up recipes to keep your heart healthy.
Cooking classes are packed with delicious recipes, plus tips and techniques for cooking with your kids.
Food for Thought has tasty samples of homemade food, live demonstrations or special StoryTimes all about food.
Monday - Friday: Cooking classes at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm
Saturday: Cooking classes at 11 am and 12 pm
Sunday: No cooking classes - Food for Thought drop-in demos and tastings at 11 am and 12 pm
Please note: Cooking classes are not guaranteed and the schedule is subject to change. Some days we may have tastings instead of a class. Please visit The Teaching Kitchen on the day of your visit to see what's cooking!
