Tickets start at just $10/member, $20/non-member, and include Museum admission unless otherwise noted.

Please note: Adults must purchase their own ticket. Workshop ticket purchases are non-refundable, but are transferable to a friend. All workshop tickets include Museum admission unless otherwise noted. You must be a current Children's Museum member to receive member pricing on our workshops.

Joy Park Workshops

Picnic in the Park

Pack up your picnic basket and head to Joy Park for a private evening of after-hours play and activities to celebrate nature! We will provide drinks (non-alcoholic) and frothy root beer floats for dessert. All ages.

Art Studio Workshops

Wheel Throwing

Learn to throw on the pottery wheel! We will demonstrate the technique and then everyone will have the chance to get behind the wheel. Your creation will be fired in our kilns and ready to take home or glaze the following week. Ages 7+.

kooky clay cacti - a two-part workshop!

Use your imagination to create your own prickly plant. Come back a week later to glaze your creation using a variety of colors. Your finished cactus will be ready to pick up the following week. Ages 3+.

Teaching Kitchen Workshops

the art of pickling

Pickling is the ancient culinary craft of preserving foods in salt brine or vinegar. Learn how to make quick pickles and fermented pickled carrots, then taste and take some to enjoy at home! All ages.

Going Gourmet

Explore your senses on this culinary journey! We will begin by making homemade mozzarella. Then, taste a variety of cheeses paired alongside different types of juice. All ages.
