Earth Day Celebration

Celebrate Earth Day with us!

Activities abound that focus on our amazing planet! Join us for Earth-themed StoryTimes, glittery henna tattoos and Encana’s 3D sandbox where you can create geographical landscapes like mountains, rivers and plains.

Other awesome Earth Day activities include:

10 am  - 12 pm: "Undoing the Mess" with Denver Water, an activity focused on water pollution.

10 am - 12 pm: Tastings in The Teaching Kitchen: "Dirt" pudding cups with worms and a composting lesson!

10:30 - 11:30 am: Make your own flower seed balls to throw in your yard to blossom throughout the summer!

2:30 pm: A special guest appearance by Dave Johnson, a real zookeeper, will read his book, “Narayani: The Unicorn of Nepal” and share his thoughts on conservation.

1:30 - 2:30 pm: Plant your own veggie seeds to take home and harvest!

2 pm - 4 pm: Tastings in The Teaching Kitchen: "Dirt" pudding cups with worms, and a composting lesson!

Earth Day Giveaways!

To celebrate Earth Day, Denver Water is handing out shower timers. We will also be giving away United Launch Alliance rocket launchers. Supplies limited.

Activities included with Museum admission.
