Grant funding from the foundation community is a key source of support for the Museum. Working with family, corporate and other private foundations, the Museum seeks general operating and project-based support and welcomes requests for proposals.
Who We Serve
Last year, the Children’s Museum of Denver served more than 308,000 children and their grown-ups, offering educational Playscapes, programs, events and outreach programs to communities and schools. With a focus on serving all children, the Museum has several programs in place that support free admissions and memberships for low-income families. Last year, the Museum provided more than 15,000 free admissions to underserved children, offering each a yearlong membership to share with their parents and siblings. Sponsored families comprise close to 30% of the Museum’s membership base.
