Our self-guided field trips provide lessons in line with a variety of Colorado Model Content Standards while allowing children to experience a playful way of learning!
Child-guided Field Trips
Explore on your own and visit Playscapes at your own pace.
Length: 2.5-hour visit
Times: 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Price: $5.50 per child
One adult for every 5 children is required to avoid paying full price. If there are more than 5 children per adult, the charge is $9.00 per person. Adults above the 1:5 ratio are $3.50 each.
Payment & Numbers: Total payment is due one week (7 days) prior to your visit along with a final head count
Note: Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early for check-in. Have one person come in while everyone else waits on the plaza.
Children in your field trip will be able to rotate through our Just Add Water summer exhibit during assigned time slots while you are visiting.
We can also come to you! If you want a Children's Museum experience without needing to travel, check out our outreach programs. We'll bring all the fun and learning to your front door!
